About Us

Diversified Nano Solutions Corporation (DNSC), based in San Diego California, specializes in developing and manufacturing nano materials and fluids used in high-performance functional inks for digital printing, unique customer applications, research and surface treatments. DNSC has developed an extensive product line of inks known as x-nano™, providing a range of solutions that utilize nanoparticles in long-term stable suspension, including MICR inks (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition), invisible color (RGB) fluorescent inks (UV [250-365m] /IR [780-1050nm]) and special pigmented/hybrid inks. These digital inks address dot-on-demand inkjet applications based on thermal and piezo print heads using aqueous, oil, energy curable (UV/LED) and eco-solvent based inks. The company maintains high volume manufacturing facilities in Europe and the USA.

About MICR black inkJet ink

DNSC K-MICR Series Black MICR inks are in wide use today by users of high-speed inkjet solutions—industrial/commercial systems and home and office desktop inkjet printers. Almost every currently available system based on dot-on-demand inkjet output can be operated with MICR ink to print documents with magnetic content: checks/cheques, official documents with long term content integrity requirements, security labels and tags, counterfeit protected currency, passports, ID, certificates and anything else requiring fade resistant and waterfast output quality. See Compatibility for a complete list.

About CMYK-channel ink & specials

DNSC Value-Series, Elite-Series and S-Series inks are based on a new family of dye and nanoparticles, formulated with special ingredients, to achieve an unprecedented coverage and ultra-smooth appearance on various substrates. Both Value and Elite inks are available for desktop, industrial and commercial print applications utilizing thermal and piezo print heads compatible a variety of manufacturers.

About Invisible IR/UV Fluorescent ink

DNSC I-Series invisible inks support many security and non-security related applications. For example: secret communication and information delivery, high speed tracking and authentication using 1- and 2- dimensional invisible barcodes, invisible fluorescent watermarks on letter head, envelopes, business cards and checks, invisible fluorescent content on passports, ID and currency, invisible tattoos, fluorescent content on textiles which glows in the dark, invisible signatures on paintings and certificates and much more. These inks can be printed, air brushed, or hand-drawn on a variety of media without interfering with other content on the same objects using visible ink or paint, and enables authentication of objects and items using UV (ultraviolet) or IR (infrared) light. I-Series inks provide a platform for endless personal, industrial and security applications and are suitable for digital inkjets.

Our R&D: innovation and collaboration to discover new solutions

DNSC offers decades of expertise in material science and process engineering technology to its clients. The R&D department strives to continuously develop and improve a rich portfolio of high-tech material solutions for digital printing applications, as well as applications beyond inkjet printing. With extensive experience and research tools available, DNSC has the ability to continuously develop novel methods and improved synthesis approaches for magnetic fluids (ferrofluids), magnetic nano materials and dispersions, non-magnetic nanoparticles, pigments, and biomaterials, which are in demand for various applications including:

  • Digital inkjet printing (aqueous/energy curing [UV]/oil/solvent based)
  • Custom dispersion and specialty ink development
  • Medical and scientific research and use – nanosensors, bioprobes, drug delivery, photocatalysis
  • Surface coating and thin film applications
  • New magneto optical applications

But what we pride ourselves in, is our ability to collaborate with customers and partners to develop customized solutions specially tailored for highly advanced and individual needs. We have the in-house characterization, formulation, and parameter control ability to systematically develop solutions which meet indvidual demands and specifications.
